Owners, Keith and Wendy Geramita, and our staff provide the best cheer and tumble instruction in a truly family oriented atmosphere year after year.
We have a strong desire to bring the most out of our athletes in a positive, fun, yet challenging setting. We do not believe that a coach must yell, scream, and humiliate an athlete to bring out their potential; we use positive interactions with your child to help them not only learn more about fitness, but also feel like they belong in our community.
How We Got Started
Keith Geramita brought his talents and 10 years of experience to Bulverde, Texas in 1996 to teach a small group of cheerleaders in an old feed store on the side of Hwy 281.
In less than a year, the program grew rapidly to over 100 students and it was time for a move and an expansion.
Champions Cheerleading & Tumbling commissioned the construction of a new building designed to support their growing business; the new facility was completed in 1999. With a full high school hard floor and a few mats the program continued pull in more and more students from as far as Schertz, Kerrville, New Braunfels, Boerne and all over the San Antonio and Hill Country area.
Two expansions and many years of hard work later, Champions is now housed in an 11,000 square foot modern cheerleading and tumbling facility.
Our Staff
Champions continues to staff it’s program with highly skilled and motivated instructors who have years of experience and are more than willing to share their knowledge with their students.
Champions coaches have been sought after to choreograph for all star and high school teams across the United States as well as London, England and Sweden. They have won numerous choreography awards and have been recognized as some of the best in the industry.
We have UCA and NCA head instructors as well as other qualified, credentialed coaches who have been with Champions on an average of 8 years. Champions staff turnover rate is extremely low and provides a consistent environment which is one key to your athlete’s success.
Our award winning coaching staff and amazing office staff are simply the best in the South Texas.
Our Facility
Our facility houses 11,000 square feet of cheerleading and tumbling equipment including a full spring floor, one full hard floor plus extra hard floor space, an inground trampoline, and a 20 foot air floor (equivalent to a rod floor).
We also offer other training aids including multiple mats of various sizes, spring boards and mirrors running the length of both floors to assure your childs success.
Parent Amenities
For the parents, we offer two spacious air conditioned viewing areas with full views of the entire gym, flat screen HD televisions with satalite t.v., free wifi internet connection, vending machine, and a pro shop which carries cheerleading apparel and clothing and accessories for adults and that last minute gift for a friend. There are also two offices nearby so you may always find someone to answer any question you may have.
